Hello fellow members,

Welcome to MUMSU 2012! Thank you all for coming down during O-Week to sign up; we hope you enjoyed the Mi Goreng! If you have friends who want to sign up, bring them down to Meeting Point at the campus centre between 12pm to 2pm.

Of course there’s more to MUMSU than just a pack of instant noodles and a satisfied belly, we also have numerous events lined up in the next few weeks, and here’s the rundown of some upcoming events:

1.   I LOVE O’Week  (3rd March, Saturday)
Indeed you do! Who doesn’t love O-Week, the most exciting week in the semester? Tell you what; show us how much you love it when you come party with us at Love Machine, you might even run into WongFu!! Tickets are on sale now for $20, get in before they’re out!

2.   Free BBQ (8th March, Thursday)
Because why not? Free food for you, so come on down to the Menzies Lawn between 12pm and 2pm, have a bite, and meet each other!

3.   To the Beach! (17th March, Saturday)
Now that we’ve gotten to know each other better, let’s have fun at Brighton Beach! Bring your beach ball, beach towel, beach pants, and all things beachy (if you know what I mean). Not exactly summer, but close enough!

4.   Extraordinary General Meeting (22nd March, Thursday)
Of course, where there’s fun and games, there’s the organizers of fun and games. This right here is your chance to get involved in the committee. MUMSU wants you, so show us what you got!

5.   Easter Camp
Studying can be quite a stressful situation to be in, and when things get hectic around uni, everyone wishes for a way to de-stress. And that’s why we’re going to get far away from uni, and have a camp, so look forward to it!

That’s all for now, if you managed to read through all that, then you have just been well informed. So tell your friends about it!

Hope to see you there!! :D
